A Christmas Carol

With a cleverly adapted script for the stage, from Dickens’ book, by member Howard Atkin, the production will involve a cast of sixteen people playing multiple roles.  ‘This is both challenging and motivating for our cast’, explains Howard, ‘as with every costume change there is an opportunity to create a different character for the audience’.

Clive Kirkham our very own Scrooge says, 'There is going to be a lot to enjoy! There are songs (carols you will know and love) dancing, rousing party scenes and a message of hope that still needs to be seen and heard. The story is well known which allows for the audience to be comfortable, knowing how it will end and, at such a time of year, the message of love, kindness, respect and caring for each other is needed now, as much as it ever has been. I hope people leave with the warmth of a bowl of smoking bishop filling them up!

Nay, Remember Me!
by Amelia Marriette

Loosely based on a true story, this comedy-drama follows the ups and downs of getting Shakespeare's First Folio printed.

It was first performed at the RSC Fringe Festival in 2001 (so we are in good company).
